Tudor Guild sponsors two volunteer opportunities open only to Tudor Guild members – Campus Tours, conducted twice weekly throughout the Festival season, and Brass Rubbing, held during the summer months.
Campus Tours
Campus Tours offer Festival patrons an opportunity to learn about the three theaters on the OSF campus and to get a closer look at an array of costumes and props from OSF productions. The short walking tour takes visitors to the Thomas, Elizabethan and Bowmer theaters and to the Display Room, with docents relating the history of each venue and describing how OSF’s outstanding collaborative process brings great theater to these stages. The one-hour tours are held every week during the OSF season on Friday and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are available through the OSF Box Office, online and in person.

Brass Rubbing
Located in Bill Patton Garden behind the Elizabethan Theatre, Tudor Guild’s Brass Rubbing offers a delightful way to create a souvenir of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Operated by Tudor Guild volunteers from June through September from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday, Brass Rubbing lets visitors choose from dozens of replicas of ancient brasses for a rubbing, using colorful paper and various colors of wax crayons. The cost to make a rubbing is between $5 and $20, depending on the size of the brass. The smaller ones can be done in less than an hour, sitting in the lovely, shady outdoor garden. Finished rubbings are packaged in handy tubes for easy packing to take them home.
